Skan had also punished Kan and Ite for going along with Wa. He separated Kan from her husband and family and ordered that she must remain alone until she was called on to help her grandsons in their work. She would be known as Wakanka, the old woman. He made one side of her face terrible to look at, so that anyone who saw it would run away in horror. Her new name was Anung Ite, or Two Faces.
